ChatGPT

You can now use new voice features that make conversations more natural, translate speech live across many languages, and transcribe what you say as you speak.

You can now set up a 'Trusted Contact' who will be alerted if ChatGPT detects you're talking about self-harm, adding an important safety net.

GPT‑Realtime‑2 , our first voice model with GPT‑5‑class reasoning that can handle harder requests and carry the conversation forward naturally.

Perplexity

The 'Personal Computer' feature is now available for all Mac users through the desktop app, letting the AI help you with tasks on your computer.

Perplexity’s Personal Computer , its answer to OpenClaw and other local AI agents, is now available to all Mac users via its desktop app, the company announced on Thursday.

As a reminder, Personal Computer is an expansion on Perplexity’s general-purpose, multi-model digital worker dubbed, confusingly, Perplexity Computer.

Gemini

You can now turn off the Gemini AI model that runs in your Chrome browser if you don't want it on your computer.

If you use Google's Chrome browser for desktop, there's probably a Gemini Nano AI model running on your computer right now and taking up about 4 GB of space.

Google built the model into Chrome to enabled on-device AI scam-detection features.

Claude Code

For the last few years, apps like Google’s NotebookLM , Hero , and lately Adobe Acrobat have given users the ability to create podcasts based on existing material like docum.

The company said that if you already use a tool like OpenAI’s Codex, Anthropic’s Claude Code, or OpenClaw, you can use Spotify’s new CLI tool , which is in beta,.

The podcasts will appear in the user’s Spotify library for easy access, but aren’t available to other Spotify users.
